United Way NCA Day Of Action - Volunteer with Loudoun Education Foundation's Fueled Program!
Fueled is the food security program run by the Loudoun Education Foundation. They support more than 1,300 students per week through weekly meal bags and in-school pantries. It is essential for them to have an organized space to work in to be able to provide the requested items to schools and to host their weekly volunteer events.
They need assistance with deep cleaning and organizing their warehouse - a must do when food is constantly moving through. Tasks include sorting food and hygiene items, checking dates on food, general cleaning and wiping down equipment, sweeping, stocking boxes, and general organizing of the space.

Free parking is available onsite. Please pull around to the side of the building where there is a ramp leading up into the warehouse space. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little dirty and closed-toe shoes to protect your feet.
Children 10+ are welcome so long as they have a parent/guardian to volunteer alongside them. The building is wheelchair/walker accessible, please let us know if any additional accommodations are required.
