United Way of the National Capital Area is presently hosting a Project Community Connect (PCC) Snack Pack Packing Party to assemble a total of 1,500 snack packs containing healthy snacks, which will be distributed at PCC pop-up events during the week of October 3 and to nonprofit partners across the region for further community distribution. These snack packs will go to individuals and families identifying as ALICE and those experiencing homelessness. Volunteers are needed on Tuesday, September 20 to assist in sorting snack items and assembling them into individual snack kits. Please consider joining us for a fun (and meaningful) morning of getting our snack packs ready for distribution next month. Upon registration for the September 20 Snack Pack Packing Party, you will receive a final event email (detailing final details and logistics) on Monday, September 19. If you have any questions about the Packing Party, please contact Levina Kim at lkim@uwnca.org and Claudia Beaugard at cbeaugard@uwnca.org. We look forward to seeing you on September 20!
