Opened as a small soup kitchen in 1970, SOME (So Others Might Eat) now provides 1,000 nourishing, hot breakfasts and lunches every day with help from nearly 10,000 volunteers a year, including our Provide-A-Meal groups.
Volunteers are needed to help plate and pass our meals, refill drinks, run the dishwasher and clean while serving guests in the Dining Room for the homeless and poor.
Volunteers are expected to stay until 1:15 PM to help clean and reset the dining room until the last plate is served.
