United Way NCA organizes the region’s largest giving day, Do More 24, an annual Day of Giving for registered non-profits in the national capital area.   

Do More 24 is a local movement that brings together nonprofit organizations, businesses and people committed to making a difference. 

The goal this year is to raise $2M within 24 hours to help fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in the National Capital community.

Volunteers will answer calls and capture information from donors.  Volunteers should have good verbal, listening, data entry and people skills.  Volunteers must be reliable, professional, and detailed oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly answer calls from prospective donors
  • Obtain required information to process donations
  • Engage in active listening with donors, confirming or clarifying information
  • Accurately enter/type information into a computer
  • Thank callers for their donation

 Training: on-site overview and training provided before shift
