Beta Alpha Psi (BAP)
BAP is an honorary organization for Financial Information students and professionals on college campuses around the World. The primary objective of BAP is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field.
On Thursday, August 9th, BAP will host a Literacy Fair and/or related activities in the classroom at 10 – 12 schools/organizations in the Washington, DC area that serve preschool through 8th grade students from low-income families.
The Literacy Fair has an international theme and students will visit and have their “passport” stamped as they visit 7 stations that will represent 7 continents of the world (Africa, North America, Europe, Australia, Asia, Antarctica, and South America).
The children participate in activities that are based on literacy, financial literacy, or physical activity.
Volunteer Role:
Volunteers to organize, sort and count supplies for in advance of the Literacy Fair.
